Today, more than two million Victorians have now applied for 20% Off Your Rego.
That is two million local families getting real, tangible help right now when we need it most.
While fuel prices and everyday costs remain so high, the Allan Labor Government is delivering immediate and effective cost-of-living relief. It is all about putting hard-earned money straight back into your pocket, and I am glad to see these payments are already hitting Victorian bank accounts.
If you haven't applied yet, here is exactly how it works for you.
- A driver with one car gets up to $186 back, and a family with two cars gets up to $372 back.
- You can claim up to two light vehicles in your name used for personal use, and you will get the full rebate whether you pay yearly or in instalments.
- To be eligible, you just need to have paid your registration between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026.
When applying, you need to enter your:
- Registration number
- Full name
- Victorian driver licence number or VicRoads customer number
- Bank details, so you can receive the rebate
Jess Wilson’s Liberals haven’t backed this relief because they simply don’t stand with Victorians. But we do. Applications close on 31 July 2026, which means you have just under two months left to claim what is yours.
